The
Stanford Achievement
Test Series, Tenth Edition (SAT 10), produced by Harcourt Assessment,
is the latest edition in this series of nationally normed
achievement tests. SAT 10 helps
educators obtain reliable data to evaluate progress towards meeting national
content standards, including those set by the National Council of Teachers of
English and the National Council of Teachers of Math.
It also allows educators to make achievement and ability comparisons when
administered with the
Otis-Lennon
School
Abilities Test, Eighth Edition (OLSAT 8).
SMMCS students in grades 1 – 5 will take both the SAT 10 and the OLSAT
8.
The Stanford
Series helps identify academic strengths and weaknesses in both
individuals and groups so that educators can make informed curriculum and
advisement decisions.
